Hi guys,

I have made an order soon to receive, it is a SOG Tomcat3, I wonder if you can buy besides a pocket clip for this knife. I would also like to know if you come sharp as to cut paper.
I like this kind of knives, I recently bought a CS. AK-47 which I am very happy with it.
Tomcat3 is as strong as the AK47?

Welcome to BF! It will cut paper for sure, comes very sharp out the box. No clip though and I dont think it will be a simple matter to fit one. Dunno if the Arc lock is as strong as the Tri-Ad but I'm sure its plenty strong enough for most things.
 
My Tomcat definitely came very sharp and the lock should be strong enough to handle just about anything, BUT ABUSE.
 
I like my Tomcat and would prefer a pocket clip and think that a hybred frog/pocket clip might work , one of the sheath makers might make or have and idea in kydex or leather withthe clip attached to a stiff sleeve.

Just received mine today and I agree, attaching any sort of normal clip would not be simple. Not even sure where you would attach it.
For me, the quick-release pouch that comes with it is just fine...particularly considering its weight and size.

Doubt if Arc is as strong as a Tri-Ad...aren't many that are...but I'd say it's at least equal to a BM Axis.

Came decently sharp, perfectly centered.

So far I'm well pleased.
