Tomcat Question

I have recently purchased an older Tomcat with a cocobolo handle from a guy trying to raise some money. He never used it and after looking at it I know why, it is one of the best looking knives I own. Anyone know why SOG stopped making these knives with the cocobolo handle?

If I had to guess it probably was because they were not a big seller to the public, sad, but thats the way it goes.

I feel the Original Tomcat is the best built knife from Sog. The Cocobolo handled one is SWEET!!!!! :thumbup:
