I enjoy making a puukko and I like the Tommi model.
Here's a pretty traditional version with stabilised birch, antler crown and a simple scrimsaw. The blade is rhombic ground and everything is screwed inside the handle.
I made a traditional sheath as well, which can be worn with or without the dangler.
8 7/8" overall, 4 1/8" blade and 3/16" thick Niolox stainless, professionaly HT'ed.
All comments welcome.
