Tommy Gann MS made this Lanny's clip after obtaining his MS stamp at Blade this year. 3 7/8 closed with a CPM154 blade at 3 1/8. Firm pull with half stop and perfectly centered blade. Stunning stag scales with 416ss bolsters, liners and backspring.

Purchased from Richard at RMCustomKnives and it was a very smooth transaction. Mr. Gann mailed a certificate and letter to me providing additional details about the knife.

That's a fine looking Lanny's Clip! Enjoy!

Wow!, that is one hell of a knife, fantastic Stag, lovely bolsters, and very clean lines... Well done to both, and thank you for showing us.

Love it! That's such a cool pattern, and Mr. Gann has executed it very well, it seems.
What would be the "official" name for his bolster treatment on this knife?

puukoman

i an calling it a half flute. as a full flute goes all around to the liners. thanks guys for the coments. tommy

That's a really neat design feature, and one that I missed when first looking at the knife. I think the LC is one of the classiest patterns out there. Tommy you nailed this one for sure, congrats to you and the new owner

Love the Lanny's Clip design. And this is a beautiful example.

Is there any way we could have this design as an option for the 2012 Bladeforums' knife?

Would the original designer (escapes my mind at the moment) license it out to a high-end production company for the purpose of creating a limited run?

I'd be willing to pay a bit more than the usual going rate for the annual knives for something as special as this.

Just thinking "out loud" here. Feel free to censor this comment, or whatever, if it's not appropriate.

Very nice! I have to admit, I winced when I saw it sitting on the concrete! NOOOOOOO, your gonna scratch the bolsters!
