Has anyone else every used this tape?? I used it plenty when I was in the Air Force. It makes a great wrap for handles. I was just wondering. It was being discussed over in the "Axe Forum", but it seemed like only a few of us even knew what it was.

Hey! I remember that stuff. It was called "F4" tape where I was. Very cool stuff!

Oni,
Thats what we called it also. "F-4" tape, but I didn't know if it was still called that these days. :)

Great stuff, not cheap so we keep it locked up so the deck hands dont use it for any old thing. Makes a good water seal, for sure.

Went to their website. Not very complete. Description of types and sizes page was simply not filled out. Can anyone tell me the difference between "triangular" and "rectangular" tape? How can a roll of tape be triangular anyway?

I also couldn't get prices on anything without going all the way through shopping for product. What are we talking about here for say a 10 foot roll 1" wide say 20mils thick?

Thanks

Mr. Rapaport,
It looks like what you want cost about $5.00 plus shipping. You might be able to find the tape in your town. Check Wal-mart, or a hardware store. That would save the shipping expense. The rectangular tape is just like masking tape. Flat on both sides. The triangular tape has a ridge/line down the middle of the tape.

The triangular would be better for grip tape. When it is wrapped following that ridge it gives a even wrap.

Hope this helps.
