  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

some have seen the white oak scales he made that are on my 15, i love em. Well he contacted me and said that he was getting word that the tweener scales didnt fit in the sheath (which i noticed but didnt mind since they ARE aftermarket and i dont expect perfection and know how hard wood scales are to make) correctly and he was sending me another set. Well hot damn if these are the same ergos as the zytel! They are so comfy and rock my socks off. Thanks again Tommythewho, homerun. I already contacted him about a set just like in his contest, that dark walnut.

Since I know you had trouble with the tweener ergos do you want the old set? And if they don't work out just send em back but if they make it easier on your mammoth size paws keep em.
Thanks for the offer, really appreciate it. However, it was the length that was the problem.

those look great, and great service on Tommy's part in correcting the ''issue''! Well done man

very cool!
White oak is neat stuff. And if you get a quartersawn piece with a little figure in it, it's a WHOLE different thing. (see KFU's White Oak Crotch Warrior)
I was surprised to discover how nicely a coarse-grain wood like that will finish. I've got some low-profile hex bolts that would look stellar in those scales...
