Just finished this one. It is a scaled down version of my "Tanto with Guard". I like the dimensions and feel of this blade and will definitely add it to the line-up.

Here are the specs...

Tomo Tanto (Tomo - (n) friend; companion; comrade; pal)
Blade Material: 1084FG
Thickness: 1/8"
Overall Length: 8 1/2″
Blade Length: 4 1/2″
Blade Width: 1 1/4″ at widest
Handle Length: 4″
Handle Construction: Leather backed, hemp wrapped, epoxy soaked. Copper guard/tsuba.
Sheath: Hand stitched, tooled and wax dipped

Thanks for looking! As always, comments and critiques are welcomed. Give it to me straight, folks.
Rick

That's awesome. Nowadays every time I see "tanto" I think of the Americanized tanto, which is a shame. The original Japanese tanto has such a clean look to it and you pulled that off incredibly. Great design.

Man that's perfect.
