It's not that hard to do it the right way. It just takes time and patience.

I was lucky that my company helped me move here and get my green card, but the citizenship application I did on my own, and it was pretty easy.
 
Congrats! How long has the process taken?

I could have applied about 3 years ago, but procrastinated...

I sent in the citizenship app over the XMas holidays, got finger printed in April or May, had my test and interview in late June, and got the notice the week of July 4th that my oath is tomorrow.

Overall a pretty easy process. Had I known the test was as easy as it is, I would have applied earlier. :-)
 
This country wouldn't be what it is without immigrants from everywhere; congratulations and welcome!
