Tomorrow AM I head back to St. Mary's hospital. Got a gut problem that's going to have to be taken care of if possible. What this is going to entail and how long it will take I have no idea so stay tuned.

I see four possibilities:

1) Tuneup
2) Overhaul
3) Rebuild
4) Junk yard

I'm prepared for any of the above and not worried (more pissed off than anything) and I'll feel a lot better if everybody adopts the same philosophy which is the only sensible way to go.

Whichever proves to be the case this should in no way affect the convention. I intend to be there one way or the other so don't cancel any plans. Take it from me there will be an overload of good guys there and it will definitely be worthwhile.

What will be affected is our immediate service. If you try to place a special order while I'm gone it isn't going to work. Standard orders may be delayed. Email may suffer. All sales and special deals go on hold effective immediately.

But Yangdu, Pala and Samtem will try to keep things running as best they can if they decide to keep me in the hospital for a week or two. Keep in mind, I'm the only one of the lot who can drive and manage the computer stuff so this is what you're up against.

I've got this new DC here on my desk and won't be able to play with it and that's another thing that pisses me off. But the day ain't over yet.

As most know, I believe in the power of prayer so if you have a minute or two and want to send something up on my behalf I'll take all I can get from anybody, any faith, anywhere, anytime with thanks.

Bill, I will offer my most sincere prayers and will keep you and yours in my thoughts. It is something that I also believe in. I know this is hard to do, but I know exactly from which you are speaking, but try not to be pissed off. There's a lot of negative muscle contractions taking place and the endocrine system goes haywire. You probably already know this, but if not, please just trust me. Take care and rest in knowing that you are truly blessed to have so many who care about your existence.

both when you were in Nepal, and while you were laid up from your heart attack when you got back.

We've picked up a lot of good guys in the Cantina since then, so they'll keep the forum straight and on the proper course whatever that is.

Keep in mind that no-one is indispensable in the short run, but that the Cantina won't be the same without you.

And the Nepali shipping staff will keep on doing it their way whether you watch them or not. Which means it's going to be very interesting aroung here for a while.

Worrying over it is just going to delay healing.

Remember and tell yourself "All will be well, and all will be well, and all matter of things will be well." It works mostly. ( And keep an eye outside your window for flying pigs! )

You ain't ready for the junk yard just yet! Hang in there and prayers are being sent.

Hope all goes well For you and a quick turnaround is possible.
When our bodies start to let us down it does tend to piss one off,
I understand that very well.

Thanks for your help and warm welcome to the Cantina.

Many thanks, all.

Rusty, with you here I don't worry about the forum.

Sams, I think a couple of fifths of Jack Daniels every two or three days might do the trick if the doctors fail.

Lama Jigme was here yesteday and according to his bag of tricks I'll be okay -- just a temporary obstacle.

You've got my payers any time you need some help Uncle Bill.
Sure hope you heal well and quick.

Prayers sent Uncle Bill, but I'm not really worried--I've known you long enough to recognize your type--timex watch that is:D

Uncle, you'll be up and going again in no time. Can't wait to meet you in person at the Convention. Prayers going up for a speedy recovory.
