I'm new here and to knives in general. I've been using a $10 Winchester that my mom got me when I was 10 as my edc since then. I actually just learned of the acronym edc just the other day, when a guy at work asked if he could see my edc. Very confused, I asked him to explain. Untill that point I figured "hey this thing cuts ok, what do I need a new knife for?". So I started looking around and lurking these forums. I decided to get a decent "budget folder" to start with. My Kershaw clash will arive tomorrow. I believe this may be the start of a very expensive collection/hobby.
