So with all the NCIS and other tv show knife threads I figured I need one. As I was getting ready to go to bed I walked past the tv and saw some guy holding a SOG daggert in black talking about how it was used to kill somebodys mother and this other guy (I wasn't watching the show, someone else was). I immediately recognized the knife and thought "Now I can have my own 'OMG I just saw a knife I know on some stupid detective show that nobody with half a brain watches, so let me put it up on bladeforums so everyone else can see that I can recognize a knife' thread." And there you have it. SOG daggert on Castle.

I just saw that too! There was also a part before that where the female detective cut open some drugs with a kershaw chive (it looked like). Funny thing was, I immediately said "Hey thats a XXX knife he/she's using" and my wife just rolled her eyes. She used to be amazed that I could I.D a knife that was only flashed on screen for a few seconds. Now she realizes that I'm so obsessed with cutlery that it's reached the point of being ridiculous.
 
In the episode with the art gallery shooting, a detective cuts through police door seal with a waved endura.

I watched it 5 times, edge of my seat.
 
My tolerant wife gave me the remote both times, so I could look at the knives. She said (of the Kershaw), "Is that a good knife?" to which I replied, "Not bad for a cop, a lot of cops do worse."
