Tonight's suprise project - BK2

I got home from work today and found a small padded envelope in the mailbox. I have a few things on the way so I quickly ripped it open and found the select walnut scales from Tommythewho inside.

They're real purdy.

I was planning on waiting, but I couldn't just stare at those things.
So I went to work. Stripping, sanding, patina-ing.

Damn fine looking 2 you got there, Tommy makes some incredible scales. That wood really pops. It's amazing how you can go from bone stock to that with a little bit of effort. Great job enjoy it man.
