A 3 blade Rem bone 3 1/2 stockman which Reese made sells for about 550.00 from him.On E-Bay it sold for 1175.00 + 12.50 shipping. Now thats highway robbery, but im the one that got robbed.I put an up to of 1200.00 on it and another dude bid 1175.00 so i payed 1187.50 for the perfect peice.I have been collecting knives for a long time and know what im doing most of the time,so why did i pay so much for that peice? 1. You might have wanted the knife.

2. You probably know what the waiting time is to get one from Tony.

If you know anything about the # knives they NUMBER the first 9 knives from 1 to 9 then start regular production on orders they receive. The one i payed 1175.00 for was a # (1) ROEN.

Roen, that's impossible. I own the #1 for the model you described. Sounds like someone put an illicit number on that blade. Sorry you got ripped off. J/K

My knives do not make me a primitive caveman. However, carrying rocks like the ones you have inside your skull...now that would make me primitive.

I dont think so.Would you like a photo.Mine has ATS 34 blades.Rem bone handles from the 30s.Reese made it and its very real.I have several Tony and Reese knives,so i am sure it is it.E mail me with a photo,or give me your e-mail address and ill e-mail you a photo ROEN

Very simple. You were willing to spend $1200.00 on a $550.00 knife.

Hey Roen That piece looked to be a beauty and you should pay whatever YOU feel its worth forget the investment possibilities and enoy her for what she is..,
I am suspect though about false #'d knives though in your case I'm sure it was the #1 remember it is a "junior"stockman
a shade over 3",not his standard stockman which is about 4"
ebay though can be dangerous you are often enticed to overbid...hell if I hadn't bought the swaback ofa you I'd a been all over that knife
