Tony, are you happy now, B.I.G #1!!!

S.F. Wins B.I.G.!

.

Yes that was pretty cool! I had followed the Giants as a kid like most of us had followed their home team; and although they had great teams at times, they had never won. This team should never have beat the Phillies maybe not Atlanta, didn't win the division until the last few days... they really should have never been there! They certainly never should have shut down the Ranger hitters... maybe the best offense of recent times in baseball.

But it happened this time... go figure  :D

It came to this.... "Josh Hamilton, who led the majors with a .359 average in the regular season, went 2 for 20 in the World Series. The big bats of Young, Hamilton, Vladimir Guerrero and Nelson Cruz were a combined 12 for 74 (.162)."

The Rangers just were not "The Rangers".

I could have told you they'd win. I was at AT&T Park back in June. To paraphrase Mark Twain, the coldest winter baseball game I ever attended was a night game in June in SF. (Seriously!)

I have a knack of going to a WS winning park every year or two. Chi-town, St. Louis. SF. I blew Philly - went the year AFTER they won and then they go and lose to NYY.

I'm thinking of moving to NV, developing a big gut and a combover and getting on ESPN and NBC for some commentary and a fat paycheck. Denny-the-Greek. (Which would be weird b/c I have no Greek blood in me.)

Oh - there was a baseball game on? I thought that season was over - kind of like socer...:D

Pelosi Pants. :D:D:D
