So here it goes for my second post! I've been lurking on the forum for a while now and thought I'd show show you all what brought me to your forum. My wife and I received these as a Christmas gift this year. Tony has been on our uncle about letting us put these knives to work and I promise you I will. Learning about knives has been a mild obsession since Christmas. I've been reading Blade magazine and absorbing as much as I can from this forum! Sorry about the iPhone pictures! (and these knives will never be for sale)

I've dressed a handful of deer with dr. t's knife already. This was a Christmas gift a few years ago also.

I hope you enjoy these pictures! I sure enjoy searching the forum for pictures of your knives. This is one of the largest and most classy forums I've visited. Keep up the good work folks!

Welcome to Bladeforums! And, those are super knives to begin your journey. You are on the proper knife trail.

Aaron,

After seeing this thread I had to go see what your first post was, great to hear that you are a hunter.
Welcome to Bladeforums.
Very nice images of three great knives and I just love the stag.
Have a feeling you're going to enjoy your time here.

Doug :)

Welcome and nice knives! Hunting knives are my first knife love as well. Check out the hunting and fishing sub forum.

those are really exceptional hunters. You know Tony Bose, is that what I caught in there?

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me to BF. Turk88, I met Tony once. Our Uncle knows him really well. I told him if I ever got my hands on one of his knives I'd use it and I meant it. I'll mail him a picture this fall of us using them. These knives are in addition to others I own but obviously the most sentimental and valuable. I have a Reggie Barker, dr. t (pictured above), and handful of Case knives that are great knives but these are what flipped a switch and made me want to learn about the knives I use. I think I was starting to be a collector and didn't know it until now. Now, my knife 'want list' is growing. My wife is already rolling her eyes at me talking about looking for the Case Collaboration Coffin Jack in Ebony from a few years ago...

Welcome to the best custom forum around. I don't hunt but I collect hunting knives and love seeing them.

Don't see many Bose fixed blades.you have something special there id say!
