T. Bose "Saddleback" "traditional" folder. Back pocket pattern with Saddlehorn blade. My understanding, Mr. Bose made just 2-3 of these. Mine has "0" along with 154CM stamped on the non-presentation bottom side of the blade.

I use {not abuse), carry, and hone this knife. I use wet/dry sandpaper on the primary bevels to maintain a nice brushed finish.

I know there have been and are many great knife smiths. But, to me Mr. Bose makes me think of the genius on the order of historic master artists. Except Mr. Bose's creations are "traditional" folding knives.

Bold statement I know and easily arguable. But, unless you had/have one, it is hard to understand how a human could take the constituent materials and make such a wonderfully designed, masterfully crafted, and superbly finished creation. And fully functional.

If you've read this, thank you for indulging me with my appreciation of such a fine knife.
Best regards and God bless

I agree with everything you wrote! Plus Tony was one of the finest human beings I have ever met. I love the Saddleback. I believe the blade Tony used in his Saddlehorn and Saddleback knives is one of his finest designs. These knives are completely traditional, but they don’t seem old fashioned.

A alongoria , would you mind posting your photo on the Bose Knives thread? I hate to see that thread slip so far back. Your knife is special!
