Tony Soprano (J Gandolfini) Dead at 51

Well, crap... :(
RIP Mr. G. Thanks for the great acting and the memories.
Too soon for you to go.
Guess I'll be hanging on to your Kobold watch for quite a while longer...

That's his watch in the pic. I won it in a charity auction benefitting the Children's Hospital of L.A. in '03.
Recently I had considered selling it. Not now...

Wow, Thats sweet  I thought that was what it meant but wasnt sure.

That is awesome that you have his watch, Jaxx! He was wonderful in the Sopranos. . . Rest in Peace!

Thoughts and prayers for him and his family. Seems like he was a good guy. It's so sad, I heard his thirteen year old son was with him, and he had a baby daughter.

Cool, yes...but I'm not feeling the coolness of it today.
I should mention that since he & Michael Kobold are...were...friends, in addition to all the other acts of charity he's done, Mr. Gandolfini and Mr.Kobold teamed up a few times over the years to do a few of these auctions for charity. Not sure how the others were, mine is actually a watch that was owned & worn by Mr. Gandolfini. A real good fella for sure.

Everybody remembers "Tony Soprano", but there's a few movies that you might remember him in as well:

The Last Boy Scout (early small roll as a henchman, uncredited, IIRC)
Crimson Tide
True Romance
The Mexican
Get Shorty
Money For Mothing
Fallen
The Taking Of Pelham 123 (2009)
Where The Wild Things Are
Zero Dark Thirty

...Among other big screen roles along his illustrious career.

Smoke rising for his family and friends. Sad day... :(

I never knew that he did so much for wounded and PTSS soldiers. That really says a lot about what kind of Man he was.
