Well, I was too busy to even participate in the fun of the janitors closet today.

I worked from 6:30 am today to just now (midnight!)

On, and to make matters better, my 2 year old broke his leg on Saturday evening. He is in a wrap with a reinforcing immobilizer. He was supposed to get a plaster cast on today, but the appointment (we were assured it was going to be set, and they would call us Monday morning, to get us in). They tried to bump it out to Wednesday! Really, a 2 year old with a spiral fracture in his leg and they want to wait another two full days to cast it (luckily it does not need to be set). He got a spiral radial fracture just above his ankle, on a spiral slide on the big toy at the park! Apparently he tried to stop with that foot on the side of the twisty slide, and it twisted his ankle! The DR at the urgent care said they get a lot of these injuries on slides! Just one more thing I had never worried about till now.

Oh, and they did not prescribe any pain medication for him. They just said "give him some baby motrin" so he did not sleep all Sunday night, No nap today (he cried the entire time) and he keeps waking up tonight.

Between all that, I did not even remember the offering tonight!

Oh, well, I would have had to sell something else to buy it (well, really I could have sold another knife and bought two....the price was so great!), so I guess it was a good thing I missed it!

Wow, i hope the little guy heals up and gets to feelin better! Sometimes doctors, as smart as they are, just dont have common sense.

When i had a railroad tie dropped on my index finger and smashed/broke the end bone in multiple spots they told me to take tylenol. That worked until the anesthetic wore off. I was cryin like a baby calling the dr up and gettin something for the pain!

Take care of your toddler first and foremost. I hope he heals up good as new and that his pain is alleviated. My 4 year old has been a fanatic about all those slides- swings, and I always felt them to be relatively safe.Something else to be even more vigilant about. Don't worry about the silly knives, they'll start showing up eventually on the secondary market. I sent my email to Pokey&Lexi and it got kicked back 2x as undeliverable etc. so I just hung it up.

I hate to see a child suffer but know how it is...... all to well. In my area, Suffering seem's to be the mindset of the Self Righteous turd's.......... until they need it.......... that is! Hope the little man get's to feeling better. Go ahead and send the email, it may be a limited number however, that number might be a hundred thousand, for all we know :)

Oh man. I bet it breaks your heart not being able to help him with the pain. I'll be praying for you all and I hope he heals up quickly and with minimal pain. Never would have thought a slide would be something to be concerned about. Hope I remember that when I finally have kids.

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear about your boy and I wish him a speedy recovery. I would say you had good reason to miss the Janitors Closet.

There will be more MBCs from the sound of it.

All the best to you and your family.

Family comes first. If I get all three that I ordered, If you wish, I will sell you one of mine at my cost.

Sorry to read this BigFT! Prayers outbound for the little one.
I did ask for anybody to keep me in mind if they got extra, but would pass that along to you if you really want one (as I do) considering the circumstances. That is if I get an offer.

Thanks for all the kind words. No worries about getting one. I really have more than enough knives. I just like to enjoy all the shenanogans and fun.

I was working on my computer, so if I had been desperate for one, I could have dropped in for a few. Just had too much work to get done to even remember!

Poor little guy!! Good news is that that looks like a very stable fracture. He will do very well. It looks like he is in a splint. Believe it or not that does help. A cast will keep the fx secure but sometimes requires a general anesthetic in that age. He should have been given tylenol with codeine elixir for pain... But be very careful narcotics are dangerous

Aww I am so sorry about your little boy! I hope the healing process is quick and easy  Keep up updated on his progress

Dang Brother, sorry to here about the little guy. Like KAAK said it has to break your heart cause there is nothing you physically can do to fix it. Prayers/smoke from AK Bro that your son will be up and running soon.

Sorry to hear about your son. Praying he heals up nice and quick.
I'm sure there'll be another worthwhile knife to capture your attention soon enough.

Poor little guy! It sucks but Im sure it will be over before you know it, little ones heal amazingly fast.

I hope the little man gets better quick. It's never good when the little ones are in pain.
