Too early for a waiting thread?

I heard through the grapevine there might be some stainless blades in this weeks batch!!!

fingers still crossed for another Padre to surface. I suppose it is still too early though...

You guys are total addicts! I'll keep an eye on the forum for you and send you a PM if Andy posts anything awesome :P

LOL, I'm sure!! I already have two new Fiddlebacks to play with this week anyway so you can't snake anything from me anyway...but something tells me the PM would just never come ;) and I want to see the Camp knives that are coming out :)

I am waiting for convex 1/8"......never enough of the thin blades :(

Bill

Yeah, I have decided that a Hiking Buddy with a full convex 1/8 with tapered tang is going to be my daughter's first Fiddleback after watching her use her mother's Hiking Buddy in the kitchen the last few times. She loves the knife, but the convex is just so much better for food prep than a scandi. Also I think I want a full convex 1/8 KE Bushie or Arete as my alternative to a Mora later on in the year...so yeah, I am going to be looking hard at the 1/8 too

Oh, by the way. Talked to Andy a little bit ago. He is working on the post as fast as he can so shouldn't be long.

In Vancouver, BC where I am, it's 8am. I've been peeking into the forum since 7am, and I can't afford to buy this week. Congratulations, Andy: my addiction is now total.

I love the bolsters, love the burlap, and the gorgeous woods. Every week it's a treat to see what gems, what nuanced modifications, what inspirations Andy has come up with.

Too early?? I think the "waiting thread" should become a sticky!

That is a great idea!!! I'm grabbing my lunch now and I'll be using one hand for eating and one hand to continually push the refresh button :-)

Really looking forward to today's batch. The grinds are just getting better and better every single week...I mean, I know that makes sense and practice makes perfect and all that but it's simply too much fun to watch. Fiddleback's appeal grows with every batch and, given the high praise users of Fiddleback knives have been giving them all along, I REALLY think that's saying something.

I especially love seeing the amount of full height or high saber ground stuff that's come out over the last few weeks.

Beautiful knives today but not exactly what I am wanting. I keep hoping to get here in time to grab a 1/8" HB or Kephart convex- maybe natural canvas or coffee burlap- even a green bolstered would be nice. Tapered tang is a plus :)

I had a HB in 5/32 and miss it but 1/8" would be even better.

Bill
