So im in the market again for a knife and the more i learn the harder the decision becomes. I don't understand it, i though the more i knew the easier i could find exactly what i was looking for. But i was soooo wrong.

I recently bought my 1st strider and have since fallen in love again, but its time to get a taste of other knives. I still have yet to by a CRK but i prefer my knives a little larger. I have owned every ZT, BM, spyderco along with many cold steels, houge and all the $200 and under production knives.

I enjoy the look of the sr-1 but I'm not in love, and i like the alias and the protect, the micro techs look awesome but i don't see myself using one.

can i get some suggestions once again on my next purchase.

it will need-at least a 3.5 blade but larger is better
ti is my friend
flippers are also my friends
it needs to be beefier blade stock I'm not looking for a tweezer extraction knife

and the price range is up to $500 this time.

Check out spartan blades. They are 100% American made and you can order them in several different blade colors and handle colors as well as a couple sheath options for some. If you don't like the look of those, another favorite company of mine is Direware knives. They make some pretty cool stuff and also offer their's in a 'semi-custom' manner . . . just my suggestions.
