I briefly saw on CNN that over 40 Muslims have been killed in the U.S. since the attack last week. I believe that I have the same sentiments as the majority on the forum that we don't need to attack or harass the wrong ones. I do see blood right now, but this is ridiculous. Losing more innocent lives makes me sick.

On another note- something else that has me more quiet than usual-
(I'm usually very quiet when I am really angry) is the news I heard on the radio this morning when a NYC cab driver was on the air, he was saying that there are more cabs driving around NYC right now with flags from other countries than our own. He was also saying that he took people to some areas of town where they were GLAD that it happened!
I am for free speech, but this, to me anyway, is a matter of courtesy and respect. I would not go visit another country and wave my flag around, especially if I went to make a living there. As for the ones who were celebrating, all I can say is that the planes landed in the wrong place.
A couple of you know who my quiet self is, also know that my wife is from another country. I respect her because when she decided to live here, and was granted citizenship, she took it to heart and devoted her loyalty to the USA. I feel that if anyone is to live here for a long amount of time, that his/her loyalty should be to this country.
Hard stance I take, but why? Because of respect for one group of very special people in our culture- the veterans.
Our veterans have shed too much blood and lost to many lives to make this country what it is today, and have protected much of the free world in the process. They paid the price in blood, and living here should not be taken for granted.
I realize that I have probably offended someone in the process of writing this, but it is a free speech forum and I have tried not to offend anyone, just giving my view through my angry eyes at the moment as peacefully as possible.
The only other thought I have had lately is WAR. I believe it is time for one, but I am proud of President Bush for not being hasty when all we wanted to do was go kill and bomb. I believe the president was truthful when he said this is going to be a long and complex war. I never thought in my lifetime, that I would really feel what our country felt when Pearl Harbor was bombed.
