Too nice of a knife to throw?

I have a S&W "Military" Boot knife that I don't use for anything in particular.
Not the HRT one you see often now but a "Smatchet" that I got about 10-15 years ago.

It happens to throw really well.
I say 'really well' because I have never thrown before and I can stick this one reliably from 6' 'no spin'.

Should I stay with that one?
Should I pick up a set of 'throwing knives'?

I don't know, only you can make that call.

Last weekend though, I was throwing my Busse Game Warden. If the knife is tough, and you are not throwing it over a concrete floor or something, there is really nothing happening that should wreck it.
 
Man, if you can stick it throw it. What else have you used it for over the years? Giver. lol
 
I love my throwing knives, but hey, use whatever works for you. S&W does make a tough knife.
