After I have it, I will be able to start more threads. I've got a couple ideas.
 
New job has me VERY busy. I'll be getting a handle on things soon and be able to get out and have a life this Fall.

We spent half the day at the Peoria Cancer Center with my mother-in-law today, and when I'm not here supporting her and my wife I'm either working or going to the dojo so I don't lose my mind. I wish I had something good to spice up conversation here, but I really don't know what it would be. I've done some cooking lately--mesquite baked chicken last night and hamburger pie tonight--and I know several folks on here like talking about food. I would love to talk about blades but I honestly haven't really gotten the chance to think about them for quite a while, although I did see a beautiful Muramasa yari on another forum yesterday, aside from wishing I could get a new one (or three).
