Too sharp?

I was playing around with my NO yesterday and decided to take it downstairs and hack up some manilla rope. So I've got it out of the sheath and I lightly toss it (on it's side) about 4" onto my desk - which happened to have my favourite pair of dress pants on top.
The weight of the knife caused it to sink into the pants, pushing material up around the edges. That was all the contact the NO need to slice through for about 3". I should really make sure I only play with my toys outside.
 
Think positive, like what would've happened have you tossed Battle Mistress instead

Yeah or even worse, you could've been wearing the pants instead of them sitting on the desk!

Yeah, like having a Benchmade go through your pants when your wearing them

Or stabbing the back of your hand with a Battle Mistress (not real severe like though, it leaves more of a bruise if anything
