didn't take much pictures. didn't have time for it. chasing little kids and making sure they don't cut themselves on SAK. 16 worked out well for exactly what i was looking for, but didn't get the chance to abuse it. it will come in next 2 weeks for that.

Did you use the blade any before you stripped it? I notice a lot of folks stripping their tweeners and have heard complaints about the stock finish being too rough. What is your take?

Looks good. Perchance, do you make custom minifigs?

kevin,

i didn't use the blade before stripping. the coat was rough enough that i didn't want it on.

derek,

i grow figs trees for fun. gives me enough figs per year to enjoy without going to supermarket looking for them. it taste great, and i know what i'm putting into them.

put patina on last night, and new scale.

Nice! Did you make the scales yourself?

I like that flint striker, too.

the scale is from jim62. it's really nice. too nice to abuse. i took it off and put on the factory scale on. need to go camping again in two weeks.

the flint and steel is from guy named darrel aune. works like a charm. tho, i need to learn how to keep the fire going after initial start. char cloth only takes a spark to get it going and with oakum it flare up really quickly. that one's also too nice to abuse.

oh.. i might have missed the joke. been out of it for 3 days. some virus.. so i'm not thinking too well at this point.

No worries. Those are called "minfigs" and the pic said "Pete's Fig's" so I thought there was a chance you were custom minifig maker. Interesting that you are instead someone that grows fig trees. I rolled the dice and lost it would seem.

true.. getting up close and personal with zombies won't be easy with 4.375". might need 9 to do the job right. enough weight to take the head clean off. thank god there wasn't any zombies at cub scout camping :D
