took a few fiddlebacks on a day hike today

it was such a nice day today i decided to go to hurricane creek park with the wife for a day hike. took my bushboot with me to break in my new front pocket sheath i made the other day and my karda too.


i took some time to work on my feather sticks durring a water break. the karda made some nice ones and the bush boot did ok. ive still got a ways to go before mine look as nice as some ive seen on here but i believe mine would work to start a fire.

Looks like a nice area to roam around in. I like that Karda, I've been thinking one of those in S35VN would be an awesome neck knife.

I took me 2 months to decide to pick it up but every time I seen the guy who owned it I made him show it to me. The last time I put it in my pocket and made a trade with him. I love it, it's a great knife, just took me some time to realize it. It's been in my pocket everyday since I got it

Ive been meaning to make it to Hurricane Creek for a hike. I live in Huntsville, so im not too far away. those pictures make me want to go!

Sisk this was our fist trip. It was a lot of fun, we will be back for sure. I'm in Hartselle, hollar at me sometime if you wanna check it out sometime

Mark I took more pics but couldn't upload them for some reason. That's the karda I was telling you I was thinking of picking up. I asked my buddy to bring it so I could snap some pics for ya and brought it home with me.

That is sweet DC. Since you and I have talked, I have been giving the Karda, Everyday Karda, and Bushcraft Karda a great deal of consideration.

I think the one I have is the 3finger karda, just judging by the handle shape. It realy is a great handling knife, many every day uses
