While Guyon was humping some one else’s stump:eek: I took a ride up Mt Tam on the dirt roads on my newest bike toy - a cross bike, and took some photos. I had to carry the bike the last half mile to the very top.

I kept seeing little snakes!!!! It must be spring!

Also this turned into a bit of an adventure. I left home at 3:15 and didn't get back until 8:30. I got a flat tire and my spare had a slow leak.:grumpy: It took two hours to get to the top from home and 3.5 to get back. That is usually just under a hour to get back.

If it wasn't for the fog I could see my house about 25 miles away.

Awesome pics Tony G. What kind of bike is that?

However, I am confused about that last pic and question to PM.

That is a cross bike that is made to ride on dirt and road. It is from a custom builder in Italy, Pelizzoli. I only know of one other in America.

It is a BLAST because it climbs fast as STINK! I'm not very fit right now and I can fly by Mt Bike riders like they are standing still. That is big fun when they are say Mmmm 23.:D

As for P.M. you would have to look at Jerry's part three post.. the final story:D

Nice view Tony....how I do love so many parts of the Bay Area.

Sweet little blades you got there bro....mmmmm snakes are sooo coool!

Now here is the problem with doing 3 1/2 hour rides up a small mountain.

I need to lose about 15 lbs to call myself marginally fit, so with that in mind I bought these Lean Cuisines to have for dinner; but since I got back home tonight I’m on my third one.:grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :thumbdn: :thumbdn:

I hear that if you drink a glass or two of water before you eat that sort of tricks the body into thinking it's full.

Great Pic Tony!

My six sense tells me it is a Gal's butt! Cuz...I think i see a bra mark!

Great looking bike Tony.....I just did Mt Diablo saturday.....no snakes for me though:( Funny......Mt Tam looks alot higher from your pictures than it does from accross the bay. John

Great pics, great blades.

P.S. If you held a Busse to my throat, I'd guess "woman", based on the hips....
