hey all, got taken on a vacation to southern GA last week, very nice place called Saint Simons island, near Brunswick,
Wehad a lot of fun, thought I'd share some pictures
It's a place filled with Spanish moss and that old south feel.

it didn't drop below 90 while we were there and the humidity was inhuman, but it was kind of a nice change as well

We also visited the nearby Jekyll island, the rich family playground form back in the rockafella and macy days, ate lunch at the grand hotel there and general had fun. I also took to stopping in at fort fredrica on my morning runs and we visited a very old church as well if you like that kinda thing

but the highlight for me was a place called driftwoopd beach, on Jeckel island,

We saw a dolphin in the water there, pretty close to the shore as well, and hunted but failed to find good sized pieces to come home (but we did get a huge crab shell)

on the way home we saw a sign for a town called julliet, home of fried green tomatoes, anyone seen that movie? We have, and so we stopped for a look.

turns out the film was filmed on location and the town is real, very cool place to go and we even ate at the whistle stop cafe (but avoided the ribs!)

also got to see Atlanta on the way home (just as the ebola patients arrived!) and pretend to be part of the walking dead

all in all a very nice trip,
