Took Carol and Zeus out Satuday for a Hike and Knife test.

This Tank Buster has standard G-10 Grips and just feels a lot better to me than the Magnum grips.

Carol also likes it quite a lot.

For those of you that have not used one--It's a very SOLID feeling knife.

But very comfortable to use and accurate as well.

But heavy.

I chopped with it over 200 times and did some knife drills as well.

It's also the only knife I have that appears to change color(from Gray to brown in the different photos)

They are both the same knife(actually looks like the photo next to the log)
and not like the one in the tree or in the last photo.

It chops better than the Mud Razor did-and feels a lot better to me that the SFNO did (both of those have been sold or traded). It is slower in hand than both of those knives.

I see the Tank Buster as a knife built to withstand anything--while still feeling like a knife in hand.

I had and sold a ASH-1 CG as it felt too thick.

Anyone else use their Tank Busters in the Woods???

Also---

The Blue handled knife is made by Ray Laconico--got it used and it's EXCELLENT!!!!! He makes a a GREAT KNIFE!!!!!

Nice TB sounds like you had a good time. I have'nt got a TB yet but i want to get one to check out. Seems like their liked by many around here.
Thanks for the pics and review.

Nice TB. Those Laconio's are great as well. He has some really simple designs, with great lines and ergo's, a lot like Bill Siegle's knives as well (but the two have different styles).

My wife says Carol and Zeus own you!
I have no idea what that means????-lol

No offense to your wife---

I own Zeus-I am his master.

Carol--I'm lucky she stays with me

Here she is testing knives on our first wedding anniversary
