So I sent an email to the custom shop with the intent of putting in my order for a custom Battle Mistress. This will be my first interaction with Busse knives, and I'm excited. I spent alot of time on a site called "Bad Mojo" getting ideas about what I want. This is going to be an exciting battle mistress.
The lady at the office said he may take a couple of days getting back to me, but it will happen.
Looking forward to this adventure.

pics when you get it
I put in one for a custom bushwhacker mistress too... we can compare mistresses!

I emailed a few years ago, no reply, emailed again, no reply. Gave up... I hope you have better luck than I did.

Uhhhhh what are getting!??!?

Battle Mistress, Fat probably, but I'm going to see if they can do a double edge on the top 4 inches and then transition to a saw on the spine. That's it basically, I have to talk to them about finer details, such as Nuke meltdown, fusion, etc. But I know i want the fat blade, double edge and saw or maybe serrations. Have to consult with them on how to make it all work.

Yep going to be spendy but you know what, it will be from your head and there craftsmanship. It will be a 1 of 1,!!! Oh and on average they will contact me 2-3 business days after I send in an e-mail. That's because I send in my e-mails on the weekend so they get a bunch of mail during that time and then by the time they weed through it all it takes that time. No big deal be patient and your dream will be a reality.

How pricey are you thinkin?

the prices of customs now, it seems to be, is based on the model's LE price plus the labor and cost of materials. it's actually not too bad. I got a NMFBM quoted and the only real custom thing I wanted was desert ironwood handles and that came out to $897, only $100 above the original LE price.

I had figured on, and prepared the wife for about 1000.00 give or take 100.00. So we should be on target. But for that much I REALLY want to make sure it's everything I'm thinking in my head, with a little consulting to help it out.

One of these days i hope to have a one of a kind made for me. Congrats on getting the ball rolling.
