...but they're here now. maybe ted can offer me some pointers on lighting because i sure had a tough time takin pictures without sun. i took tons of shots, these are the only three i'm willing to share.

the middle image blows. the light is captured by streaks from wiping it with my thumb, those aren't in the blade. the photos with fists are more honest representations of what you'd see handling the knife yourself.

prepare to be underwhelmed by mediocre pics of my amateur satin finish.

heh, when my friends use the word need for somethin other that maslow's first ranks, i usually trip em up. in this case, i will say that you're use of the term is not only excusable, but maybe even laudable. go. email yangdu.

Not now, when I'll get my tax return :P

Also, she doesn't have any. I traded a knife and needed something to even the trade, so I emailed her to know if she had some, her answer was "not at the moment, come back in a month".

Man, that looks sweet. I haven't gotten one of those yet. I need to do that.

thanks everyone. i gave my villager ganga ram a little of the same treatment since it came extra rough and to get the junk off it. i may go further with it and post some pics soon.
