some rainbows I kept from fishing..I usually only keep 11 or two, but we had a big dinner and ate 4 of them..i kept two to cook over a fire later on.

Must be nice !!

I for one am up for more pics.. Did you use your kit line and hooks or a pole for the fish?

Wheres the pic of you jabbing a fish with an arrow head??:D I would have staged one for kicks...

Was a bear chasing you up the tree?

I was up in the Rockies 2 weeks ago its outstanding!!

We stayed in lake louise and had a Grizzly and her cubs walk through the camp.

Did the Junglas tear up the Devils Club? Man do I hate that stuff! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Where were you? Somewhere around Golden?

Very cool!

I absolutely love living in BC. My family owns property in the caribou interior (just north of 100 mile house if you are familiar) and I have spent the best days of my summers there on a pristine lake with no distractions of city life.

Can't wait til I make it up there this summer to share similar pictures with you guys!

Where abouts did you do this reunion?

Very nice ! What great scenery. Good to see that 3 slicin' up fish ! I figured you would do some good fishing there. Great results.Glad you had a good time with the kinfolk.;)

Nice pics! It reminded me of my 40 mile float trip I did in Oregon a couple years ago. We had 5 boats, guides, and a hell of a lot of fun! It was one of the best trips of my life. I'm glad to see you got out and got to do some fishing. Congrats!!!

okay everyone, here they are!

The rainbows in the above picstures were caught on this lake, but i did use my PSK fishing kit while out hiking, i found a small creek and used about 8 feet of 15lb test with a dry fly and caught 2 small trout, but the wife had the camera at the reunion and i was playing hookie so i didnt get pics :thumbdn:

I found this den when i was out..i was by myself, but i had my 590 and i thought at first it was an old bears den, but as i found out apon further inspection, there were fresh cougar tracks all over the place...the cougar could have been checking it out or maybe it slept there...ive seen lots of bear dens, but this one was different..i am 178lbs and i could climb in if i needed too but it looked tight...any insight?

this pic of the cougar track sucks because i had to use water to darken the track, but it is in fact a cougar track. They have been reported contantly in the area.

ok guys ive got to go clean my shotgun and see how my tent is airing out. enjoy the pics and have an awesome day!:D

Yeah, I had fun! I used all of my ESEE`s while i was there..I cant believe how useful the ESEE 3 is, it slices, dices, cuts and carves incredibly And the Junglas is even better at its job...I got alot of pictures of the terrain and where i was but not enough pictures of knives in use...next time.

I didn't realize how small the Junglas is until I saw it sitting on that leaf. :D

BEAUTIFUL pictures!
