hey guys, i recently bought my first busse knife (off a member here) and had a day off, so i thought i'd take it out and see what it could do.... or more like what i could do with it. i wont go into a whole of details, but suffice to say i am very happy with the knife. i was able to take down a fairly good sized tree pretty easily, make a walking stick, strip a branch.... blah blah blah... anyways here are some pics if you are interested...

had to throw that last one in there just because. was a birthday present to myself!
 
Nice Magpul on that AR. I love mine. I've got a Magpul one one and a Vltor on the other. If you ever ran outta ammo and the HR snapped in half, you could beat a guy or seven to death with that thing. ROCK solid.
 
Sweet pics xgoldy. Nice HR, AR, and I'm digging the H2 lift as well (3" + 1" body lift or so?) What kind of ACOG you have on that AR?

YOU SIR......are my hero:D . I have a few AR's but none that nice. Nor do I have a hummer....I tip my cap.

Is that a match grade trigger?

Nice AR! Looks like a Bushmaster, but hard to tell. Man I hate bi-focals! What type of light is that under the barrel?

since there are a lot of AR related questions - ill just give a rundown of the setup.

its a preban (not that it matters anymore) colt sporter with a heavy barrel, with a magpul m93b stock with a heavy buffer, strike plate and hk sling loop. ergo grip, jp 2 stage match trigger, midwest industries 4 rail handguard with magpul ladder covers, surefire m900 vert grip/light, troy rear and yhm front folding buis, acog ta31-rc0 m4 scope... and i think that is it.

bottom line - its a whole lot of fun to shoot!

Now that's really unfair. You go for a lovely walk in the woods and get to carry an AR and a Busse. But all I'm legally allowed to carry when I go visit my friend in Bayview/Hunters Point is a pocket knife.:p ;)
 
Dang I need to MOD up by Bushmaster and Armalite....seems like you guys got me beat in upgrade department.

Thanks for the info XGOLDY. I like the light and the vertical handgrip. Gotta do that to mine. I'm embarrassed too, I mistook the rampant colt for a snake. Like I said, darn bifocals!!!!! I think I better get my eyes checked. Again, nice AR!!!!!
