Been a while since I've been able to get up in the mountains, so I was pretty stoked to be able to do a nice little 10 mile stroll this weekend with the Eskie. If any of you interested in doing any hikes in Hawaii...this is the La'ie Summit trail. Takes you up into some pretty nice remote areas of Oahu's Koolau Range with some pretty awesome 360 degree views of the windward, leeward and north shore sides of the island. It was kind of an overcast and voggy day (volcanic haze), so the views in the pictures really aren't that great. But, hope you enjoy!

Sorry...still learning how to smile in pictures:grumpy: and sorry for the grainy iPhone pics!

I did enjoy. I was out in the snow chopping firewood tonight so to see all that green nature is nice. Thanks!

That looks amazing, thanks for sharing the pics!

Awesome stuff, and beautiful scenery, thanks for sharing.

Nice pics pineapples, even from an iPhone.

Love Hawaii. I have some I took in Pololu Valley when I visited the Big Island a couple years ago. Hiked down into the valley and up to the top on the other side. Wanted to go down into the next valley but it was getting late. Plus it was very steep and I didn't see a trail. My hosting account is down right now. Hope to get it up soon.

Great pics of a beautiful place. About the smiling thing, what I do is imagine the photographer is on fire.

Great stuff man, fun to look at those pictures. I'd love to go there someday, you're blessed to live in a place that most people dream of visiting!

Cool hike. Thanks for taking us along with you. Looks like your dog had fun, but judging from your picture your a little one the fence.... :D

Great pics! It's fun to see different areas and their vegetation. Like the bk14 love too. It's my fav fixed blade for EDC.

Looks like that dog had a blast! Pretty neat looking area, I'd like to travel more. Yeah, that bk14 mixed with ESEE may be the way to go for an EDC, the other necker has a bottle opener that looks like it could get hung up in clothing when you need to pull it out. Then there is the Izula, but the blade seems shorter. Cool pics, thanks for sharing.
