Decided last weekend to go to Zalenski State Forest with a few fellow soldiers i work with. This was my First backpacking trip since Boyscouts when i was younger so i wasnt too sure what to expect and dang! I realized pretty quick i packed improperly! But it was still a blast and definately memories i will never forget. Cant wait to go back!
Used the SOG Fast Hawk to cut apart logs, used the Jericoh Justice to split logs, then i used the Becker (with new Micarta) to Make the kindling and other small work.
