I recently got my first INFI, a BWM LE, and had taken it out and used it a few times without taking any pics. Today I went to the beach with the dogs and remembered to take a couple pics.
Here's an old washed up Spruce that is filled with little rocks and sand. I whacked on it for a while and it was hard as any wood I've ever tried! Full of knots too.
Next was the root section from another Spruce driftwood log. You can see about how deep I can get the knife to bite into wood.
A few whacks later and it's through. Pretty easy!
That was about it for the day, just one more pic to show the moss we hiked through to get to the beach.
When I got home I just ran the knife under hot water and it's back to NIB again! One of these days it'll get marked, this thing is tough! It's a great weight to carry, hardly notice it's there. If it were heavier with a different blade profile it'll bite deeper, but it'll also be so heavy I wouldn't bring it out as often.
Love it
