And did a little chopping with it. I got to say I was impressed but the finish did not stand up as well as the DDF that was getting used side by side. Not bad finish wear, but some for the amount of light use. Good thing I don't mind, I use my tools:D

I don't have a lot of pics of it since the battery died on the camera yesterday. I will upload the ones I do have, before the chopping fun started though. I figured it was something to do with the difference in finishing material because the Mistresses coating is thick and grainy where as the DDF is not as grainy.

See if this will work. The BM, you can see where the finish is starting to wear.

put [ img ] before the URL, and [ /img ] after it, without the spaces, and the pic will show up inline...

Nice shot, btw - always love seeing these knives used.

I know that some don't like the worn look but to me it is a badge of honor. These are knives and are tools, to me that means that they are meant to be used!

With that blade, I'd just leave it be. It'll look better and better as the coating wears!

Thanks, after reading up on the convex edges I might do that before long. I am not sure who does convexing, but I really don't want to start my attempts on such a good blade if you know what I mean.
