took the fat to the park

i have been wanting to take the knives out for a while now - and today i had the chance... kind of. i recently moved - so i was not really sure of where to take them - so i headed out to the park. well, the park was great - and it was a perfect day - but i decided against doing any hard core chopping. I didnt want the little kids on the beach to think im some sort of crazy knife nut or something... well - here are the obligatory pics and next time i'll try to get in some more action shots.

here is where i went.

the lineup - and wouldnt you know - i still managed to forget a couple....

not a busse - but i really like this knife. recently bought it from a forum maker.

Hey, nice sheaths as well. The one that is second from the right (2nd picture), that appears to have the snakeskin (or something to that effect) in the middle... who made that one?

thanks! the sheath with the snakeskin inlay was made by armorall leather, and the one next to it was made by chuddy bear. both are high quality makers and i highly recommend them!

Thanks, I just found the Armorall Leather website. Neat stuff. Will definately need to investigate further...

nope - i went all leather. but i think they can make it either way.

yeah - i scrubbed it a couple times with dawn dish soap - but being out in the sun really brings out the colors.
