Was a little nervous but it came out pretty good I think. It works flawlessly and my thumb dosent go that far up on the knife when I use it. It's my work knife and the one handed opening will make it much more useful.

Since i had the grinder out I also grinded the part of the blade where the detent ball rests, not much but enough to make it open with a nice wrist flick if I don't use the pocket opening.

What do you guys think?

I gotta ask.......

with the thumb studs, it was not already a one handed opener and closer?

Looks like you got the result you were looking for.

You are correct, it was. The detent was pretty tight though so grinding that part down made it much easier.

I missed the wave style opening I've had on other knives though and figured I would give it a try.

I went back and forth for an hour deciding whether I should possibly ruin one of my Zts. All in all though I'm very happy with the way it came out.

I bet Charlie Mike would love what you did. I am not big on wave openers but I am big on tweaking your own knives to fit your use of them.

Turned out nice! Question... It looks like you severe of a slope down into the pocket catch.... So it does catch ok with no issues?

Thanks. I also grinded the detent hole down some which did wonders on the owning as well. Your right, it was fun making changes to my knife to make it better suit me.
