And learned a thing or 2. At first I took the knife apart and cleaned the bearings washers and friction surfaces with alcohol lubed them with CRK fluorinated grease. Well the knife did not like that I think. It was slow and did not flick well. The blade was also off-center, not the greases fault but mine. Thats the second thing I learned, final assembly of this knife seems to go better if the knife is locked open. That way you can adjust the centering on the lock side first by tightening the pivot screw on that lock side. So I took it back apart and cleaned the grease off and used KPL instead. The action is much better now. I had take my sebenzas apart and clean and lube them when I first got them. I think they sit around for a while and the factory lube dries up.

Also, one side of the pivot is loctited in. That's a good thing. As far as lubricant, for bearings, I like the Nano oil that Grimsmo uses. If running it on washers, then I like the CRK grease. Grease and bearings seems to be a poor combo.

have to ask, do you have the sealed bearings. The reason I ask is the loose bearing count is 13 per side and missing or miss placed bearings can screw with performance and centering.

Hahaha I figured that out when they went flying on the kitchen floor. It was converted to washers shortly after.
