well i just got the new batac from the company store and thought i'd take it to the range this mornin. unfortunately there were no mutant zombie bikers to carve up - but i thought i'd post some pics anyways... nothin too special, and my pic taking ability kinda sux - sooooo i apologize in advance for the bad lighting...

here is the batac with blue g10 mags, not that you can tell what color they are in the pic...

here's a pic that shows the range - im shooting at the 100 yd targets. (2nd tier - the far targets are 200 yds)

finally here is a pic of my target after i got sighted in - this is shooting off a bipod - no bench rest... i know - its not great - but for me its not tooo bad. the little squares in the target are 1"x1" (5 shots at each of the corner targets - i think i shot 2 of them 6 times)

XGOLDY,

Do you mind if I ask how long is your barrell and shroud are?

That's a sweet setup you've got there - I'm in the process of building one myself and am looking for ideas....

Thanks!

its an LMT 2 stage - i think its around 4lbs or so. its a clean break - but i like the jp trigger in my colt a little bit better - maybe because it breaks sooner...

Sweet gun, what trigger do you have in it and how many lbs you got it set too?

I like your AR and new BATAC!

BR shooting is the only thing I like as much as knives, Have some accurate rifles and the XP in my avatar will shoot with any of them but I am still working on my AR.

It's almost ready but I stoped before changing the factory stock... which stock is on yours?(never mind...see it above)

I've not even shot my AR in a year so I can't remember who all made a good stock, yours looks very good.

A good rest and sandbags with a little ammo testing and I'm sure those groups will get a little smaller.... for some reason my 1 in 9 twist shoots 52gr hollow point's the best:confused:

18" bbl with the ops inc brake and collar - made for the ops inc suppressor when i get around to getting the paperwork done for it. its pretty cool - you just unscrew that front nut and the suppressor just screws right on...
