Took the old girl on a rugged hike !

I often wonder just how much longer Maisy is gonna be able to do hikes such as the one we did today but for an older dog she still does pretty good !

The climb to the top took me about an hour at a moderate pace but much of the trail is gnarly as in this pic:

At least on a clear day the views make the slog up worth it !

And the good thing about this hike is that there is always a pool of water for the dogs to cool off in at the top, even after the very dry spell we have just had !

lol she looks like she has lots of good hikes left in her. i love that knife the more i see the more i want one. man i wish i had area as beautiful as you around. as usual great pics sir

Looks like a good day. My old man is pushin 10 yrs old now with some hip problems. He will push all day but can hardly walk after the ride back home. Glad to see Maisy is still doin good, bro. Great post as always
 
Though she may slow down, I bet all that exercise will keep her healthy and active for a long time. Always love your pics, and sometime when I have the $$, I want to get a Booshway thanks to your pics!

I agree - with both aspects. I want one of those Booshways, but as usual money is pretty tight.
 
whwe... for a moment i was afraid this was about Mrs. Pit.

i was expecting to see her using her new knife with the pink scales on you for a little revenge. :eek:

Beautiful dogs and country. I would love to see and hear more about that knife. I love it's cleaver look.
 
Nice to see your pups had a great time! Dogs get old quick I'm sure you know, have fun with them while you can.
