any suggestions for a tool to taper the pivot hole prior to peening?

I had one but it was so grabby it would pull out the backing rod on shadow patterns, and it just broke off in stainless steel bolster. The Culver book suggests Taper pin hole reamer?

any recommendations on size/style for 3/32 pivot hole would be appreciated

thanks

Here's an item number B00FXJOBXU you can search on Amazon to see the different sizes and styles of reamers

For 3/32" you might look at the #3 which says "he spiral flute taper pin reamer is recommended for applications where the reamer tends to wedge itself. 0.0719-inches short end and 0.0966-inches large end."

I use what Luke Swenson uses in his video.

Carbide Steel 20 Degree 0.1mm CNC Router Pyramid Engraving Bit

this is for 3/32 pins

You talking about this item? #B00EQ1X1GY on Amazon? $10.50 for a pack of 10 bits? I'll bet those would work pretty good. I've got several of those I can try.
