I just pulled the Trigger... THE MUDD IS MINE!!!!!!!!!!!... this is my first purchase in months!
Awesome.....

I don't know of a specialized tool for the pivot, but I found that two small nails, with tips ground flat, would fit in the holes and then I simply put a rod between the nails and this allows me to tighten or untighten the pivot. The MUDD will make a great go-to folder!!:)

What's the distance across the pivot, hole to hole? Minispan makes some small, affordable spanner blades, but the largest I can find is 10mm. I'm thinking the pivot holes are like 20mm across.

I would think there is a serious market for a good adjustable spanner tool in the knife world. Kershaw's affiliation with Snap-on could come in useful with regard to getting something like this to market..... Include the right sets of bits with this thing to cover a broad spectrum and you have found a quick and easy way to cross over into new marketing territory.
