Hello, I have been making knives for about a month now, and i think they deserve a cool leather sheath. However all of the leather working kits seem to me more aimed at crafts? could anyone recommend a leather working kit that would well for work for sheaths, I have a budget of 50$ to 70$. If not, do I need to buy them all separately? Also what are the most important tools for leather working? they all seem super specialized.

Thanks for any help :)

Getting into leatherworking for 50-70 dollars is a tall order... minimum is a box cutter, dye, stitching awl/pricking iron, wing dividers, edger, thread, burnisher, saddling needles

Very essentials:
- Leather
- Thread
- Needles
- Pliers (for needles)
- (leather)Glue
- Hole marking wheel for thread holes
- Punch or dremel for holemaking
- Some sort of bone spatula for wet forming

All the rest is for finishing, so you can at least practice with above. Leather dying and finishing if you don't buy ready leather. Burnishing tools for finishing the edges if that is what you want. Then the rest.
