I just came across this interesting review of two of the Case red bone CV models, the medium Stockman with pen blade and the wharncliff Copperhead.
Overall it's pretty well done, though I did find it odd that two "tool guys" didn't really seem to grasp that CV = carbon steel = the blades that will stain up like crazy but cut like the dickens. They never mention anything about staining or rust or patina. And read: "The CV blades are shiny and durable ... They do seem to gather more fingerprints than my other knives, but that might just be my imagination."
I quibble, though. It's a fine tribute to Case's modern production and a fun read to boot.
