Tools in the hands of an expert

LOL.......I just showed this video to my wife and she said I'd be on my way the the ER after the first tree.
It's definitely a delicate dance.......and not for one with two left feet like myself :D

Yeah, I'd try it with two ak47's but I'd prob end up looking looking like a Christmas tree :)
 
That is a pretty cool video! He has had a lot of practice I think.
 
My Dad has been using tree shearing knives like those for a few years as a very light, long handled machete for light to medium delimb/brush/weed clearing work. He loves them for the high cutting ability and maneuverability.

Here's a shot of one of his that had taken some pretty heavy damage after I did my best to salvage it on my 1x30" (I also straightened it, the blade was very warped). Ironically he said it cut better than new with the new edge I put on it and the "waved" serrations:

Sadly, this one broke off at the handle not long after I fixed it up. They are still his preferred blade for the work though.
