Hey every one! I wanted to ask a question about tools I should get. I don't have a job because I'm 14 and lazy so I can't get a band saw. So far I have a grinder and a craftsman drill, thats it.

I wanted to get:
A jewlers Saw,
Jewlers needle Files,
and I don't know what else I would need,

If you are lazy, I don't think knifmaking is for you, unless you got a lot of cash to spend on tools to make it easier. I would recommend a whole bunch of files for profiling the blade, sanding blocks and sand paper(you can make the blocks yourself), a good vise, and a torch set up to heat treat the blade. There are a lot of good tutorials on the net to help you get started, they will explain what tools you need and how to use them.

I'm not lazy when it comes to making things or doing work. I'm talking about waking up and walking like four miles to the orchers and picking peaches all day.
