Toothpick flexibility.

Hi

I just bought my first Case knife, a large Texas toothpick. When I first eyeballed it I was a little worried about the literally needle thin blade but I bought it anyways, can anyone attest to the flexibility or have any video or pictures of flex tests? I'm sure this wouldn't be a worry on the regular 6" small toothpick but this sucker is pretty long and extremely slender.

I didn't think this deserved a thread but I didn't want to derail the others.

Really happy to finally have my own slip-joint though, can't wait for summer so I can put it to work on the river.

I've used mine in the kitchen a lot and had no problems. I flexed it in hand a couple of times and it sprung back w/o problem. Blade is almost centered and hasn't changed in two years.

I was lucky enough to get a USA Schrade muskrat last August. When I first handled it I was like you and thought that the blades were way too thin. I decided to take it to work anyway (I am a remodeling contractor) and I have to tell you it has become my favorite knife. As long as you do not try to pry or twist with it I think you'll find that long thin blade is very durable and a dream to slice with. Please let us know what you think about it after a few weeks of carry.

Great, that's enough for me! I use my knives for pretty regularly cutting though so no problem. I used mine yesterday to slice up some cheese, worked great with such a long blade it has a lot of draw to it.
