Upon receiving my HIGHLY CUSTOMIZED NUCLEAR HEART, i was inspired to list my TOP 10 BUSSES OF ALL TIME that i either seen, felt, owned, traded, have currently, never had but really want, etc. I invite you to share yours as well.

***Disclaimer, i don't know if all my info is accurate, and it is off the top of my head, so feel free to correct me if i misspeak***

1. Garth's personalized Highly Customized Nuke Heart- just absolutely incredible!!!

2. My Highly Customized Nuke Heart- best knife i have ever owned, feels great in the hand and totally worth every penny (thanks again Amy-0 and Garth). I'm sure the other Lucky recipients would agree.

3. Eric Isaaccson Avatar Knife- I believe it is a Battle Mistress Variant, it was the knife that enticed me to become a Busse collector.

4. My Satin SFNO- All around most practical and applicable Busse Knife, not to mention, i just had tan mag handles put on it.

5. Morimotom's Meaner Street LE- I am going to steel it one day (shhhh don't tell him). Also, i think it is the best EDC Knife offered by Busse

6. Busse Folder- whether or not this is a myth, legend, or currently in the making; it is probably the most coveted piece of INFI never to go into production.

7. Flying Tiger- Found on Badmojo, don't know who actually owns one but it is awesome.

8. Cobalt's SHBM- It is great to see someone throw their knife (15,000 times or more- i think he said somewhere) and abuse their knife that much.

9. Crafft's Mud Razor- I think it is the best "satinized" Busse.

10. Randucci's Modified Red Game Warden- Once the ugly duckling, now a swan.

I really like the coloration & crack / fracture marking on yours!!! :thumbup: :thumbup:

As for my top ten.... I'll have to think about that one for a bit. :p

Pietrzakp, that's a pretty freakin' good list! Works for me save one MINOR adjustment... Heh-heh :D ...SINCE there's no folder YET, I'm just gonna slip this one in that slot UNTIL the release of the Busse Big Bad Badger Folder, or whatever the folder's name will be... Then the folder can bump this bad boy off the list, LOL! :thumbup:

This may be cheesy, but I gotta throw in some props to the Busse pricing system.

There can't really be a top 10 if you don't have a top 1. And for me, I got sucked in with a $187 BA-III.

I'd been relying on a $45 cheapo and wanted real reliability, and while upgrading to the tune of a little over $200 was a LOT of money for me back then, it wasn't impossible. Busse prices have gone up a bit since then, but a Service Member can usually get the going combat knife (9"-12" models) for well under $300. Remember the Mole Jack? the Model T Meaner Street? They may not mean much to you, but they're No. 1 in many peoples' books.
 
1-9: SHBM (especially my one of 6.)

10: Oh, and the Off-Duty. The essence of Hoggish fat INFI splendor!
 
That's interesting. Only one person even has FBM in their list, while three (if I counted correctly :D ) have SHBM in their list. What's with that???
 
Sometimes ya feel like a nut, sometimes ya dont. :p

FBM is Mounds and SHBM is Almond Joy. :D

Probably because their are only a handful of people still here who even heard of them much less seen them. Not too many collection photos around other than the Steel Hearts and SHBA photos..and SHBM collections
